Once upon a time, about 120 years ago, the sun embraced the virgin forest here, the river, like a flexible silver snake, meandered between the trees, meadows and rocky peaks. And then the first settlers appeared, athirst for the beauty of this nature and looking for the most wonderful and favorable place for their home. This was a large family with 9 sons. They came from the west and stopped somewhere each year, building huts with the hope that this was their place. And so for years on and on, the family increased and the moving to the east continued. People in the area knew that the "pack" was around. And this continued until the moment when these wise and practical ancestors, like an Asparuh, did not take root here in this spacious place that came with its name - the Packs. And life was in full swing - houses were built, children were born, even there was a school. Now the silence of the empty yards and the padlocked doors, the grassy village streets only arise thoughts and fill the soul and heart with love and hope that the Bulgarian spirit starts from here and will never disappear!
